In the beginning of the book the main character is a gymnast and she wished for breasts and this boy in her class. In the middle part of the book her wish came true (the breasts). When she did her beam routine she got done and her coach told her to put those things in. At the end of the book the other part came true (the boy in her class). She ended up getting what she wanted and then he gets strangled in her arms.

It is a collection of five prom horror stories from some amazing authors (including Stephenie Meyer and Meg Cabot). Complete with vampires, zombies, and demons, this book is a very good read as long as you don’t mind a little horror.

Book Summary and Comments:
Tangled brings together four teenagers to a Caribbean resort. At first only marginally interconnected, this novel reveals how actions we consider inconsequential can impact others. Told from four different viewpoints and taking place in four consecutive months, YA readers will enjoy the varying characters and how each one grows.

It can be argued that the four narrators are simply stereotypical shells of common YA literature personalities. Jena is the shy girl who would do anything for a boyfriend; Skye is the poor little rich girl whose beautiful looks, endless bank account, and acting talent are not enough to make her happy; Dakota is the jock with no regard for the people around him; and Owen is the nerd who is more comfortable in virtual reality than actual reality. Mackler, however, does a very good job of exploring these personas and explaining how each character came to acquire their unique personality traits. The events, dialogue, and interactions are descriptive and believable. This book addresses a lot of issues including depression, suicide, grief, sibling rivalry, self esteem, and more. Despite the fact that these topics can (and often do) merit complete novels all on their own, this one never felt as though it was taking on too much. By the end you will be rooting for all four of the main characters.

Hideki Motosuwa finds a persocom in the trash – or so he thinks. Chi is not your average persocom. She can’t connect to the internet, and she has a self-teaching program. All she says is Chi. Hideki and Chi go on an amazing adventure to discover who Chi is. I highly recommend this book. It has happy parts, sad parts, and even funny and touching parts. This book will lift your spirits and make you happy. Greatest book ever.

Everything goes downhill. After Gonff, the mouse thief, meets Martin the Warrior, they go on a quest to Salamandastron to save Mossflower.

This novel tackles the controversial topic of teen suicide in a unique and insightful way. Clay Jenkins receives a package in the mail containing 13 cassette tapes. He soon discovers that each tape is made up of one reason why his classmate and crush, Hannah Baker, committed suicide only a few weeks earlier.

Asher deftly alternates between the present, which includes Clay's heart-wrenching reaction to the tapes, and the past, which follows Hannah's journey from popular freshman all the way to her decision to narrate the reasons behind her own suicide. Young adult readers will identify with many of the characters including Hannah; however, they will also notice the many times she failed to help herself.

Thirteen Reasons Why does not gloss over the often harsh realities of being a teenager. Every one of Hannah's reasons is believable. Clay's reactions are as authentic as they are sad. The author does an excellent job of detailing how someone's actions can have unforeseen effects on other people. Readers will find themselves thinking about this novel long after they finish reading.
